Call for Papers

The International Conference on Multilingualism: Linguistic Challenges and Neurocognitive Mechanisms invites proposals for presentations on any aspect of research on bilingualism and multilingualism.

Topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Applied Linguistics
  • Clinical research
  • Cognitive science
  • Morphology
  • Neurolinguistics
  • Phonetics/Phonology
  • Psycholinguistics
  • Semantics/Lexicon
  • Sociolinguistics
  • Speech Language Pathology
  • Syntax
  • Theoretical Linguistics

Proposals regarding original research on bilingualism/multilingualism are invited in two formats: oral presentations (20 minutes) and posters.

The abstract should

  • be prepared in either 'Word' or 'PDF' format (*.doc, *.docx, *.pdf)
  • be no longer than 300 words, plus title and references
  • include enough details to allow reviewers to judge the scientific merit of the proposal

Only one presentation as a first author is allowed. The first author will have to register for the conference in order to be assured a place on the program.
